Memorial Union Kelley Engineering Center AlumniCS Graduation

For those of you who graduated from Oregon State with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, you've undoubtedly noticed our recent merger, creating the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

The merger of the two departments into one strong school creates a critical mass in several research areas that will help Oregon State University's College of Engineering achieve our goal of becoming a top 25 engineering program in the nation. The School's research and educational programs will have significantly higher visibility both internally and externally. And because Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering have many overlapping fields, several faculty interests lie between the two departments.

And even as we move forward, we continue to value the past and the solid foundation that we're building upon. We welcome your involvement in EECS and the College of Engineering's goal to become a top 25 program.
