The TekBot
The TekBot PFL is used in many classes to give students a practical experience in Electrical and computer Engineering. Student receive and assemble a basic TekBot their Freshman year and get experience working with analog sensors. Sophomore year students are introduced to digital logic and have the oppurtunity to apply what they have learned with their TekBot using a digital logic controller. Junior year students are introduced to micro controllers and use a ATmega128 AVR 8-Bit RISC Microcontroller to run their Tekbot.
