Temperature Sensor: First off, one that does not come into physical contact with the material being measured. So, InfraRed would be best. We need to look at the output of the sensor, so as Temperature increases, does a voltage increase? I assume the WunderBoard can sample those values and it would be up to the architect to determine which sample value should be attributed to which temperature?
Hall Effect Sensor: These will be used for timing, let's say a rotating shaft. This sounds like another data logging situation. We sample each voltage (which corresponds to some rotational speed). Right?
