The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and the School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) at Oregon State University are pleased to announce our annual EECS & MIME Industry Reception. This event will take place on February 22, starting at 5:00 PM in the Kelley Engineering Center. We hope you will join us!

Held the evening before the Engineering Career Fair, the EECS & MIME Industry Reception is a targeted opportunity for organizations interested in connecting specifically with Oregon State's EECS and MIME students and faculty. With so many of our students involved in the reception--freshman through graduate level--this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to recruit both interns and new college hires.

Schedule

All times are approximate. Pre-registration is required.

5:00-5:30 pm: Faculty Meet-and-Greet.– KEC 4125. Join our faculty for coffee and learn more about their research and educational programs.

5:30-6:00 pm: Student Reception.– KEC Atrium. Mingle with EECS and MIME students over hors d’oeuvres.

6:00-6:30 pm: Short Program & Introductions.– KEC Atrium. Give a 20-second introduction of your company to the crowd, pointing out what majors you’re looking for.

6:30-7:00 pm: Session 1. Meet with 1st Group of Students – Rooms to be Assigned.

This is your golden opportunity to get students interested in your organization, help answer questions, provide tips about resumes and interviews, etc.

7:00-7:30 pm: Session 2. Meet with 2nd Group of Students – Same Room as Session 1

Meet with a second group of students. (See Company FAQ, qn. #11 for ideas on what to cover during Session 1 and 2.)

7:30-8:00 pm: Wrap Up & Pack Up. Chat with any students who wanted to meet with you but were unable to get into the session.

How Do We Register?

To register, visit Company Registration. Advance registration is required. INSPiRE members receive complimentary admission and a resume book, but must still register.

If your organization is "Wait Listed" we will contact you as soon as space becomes available.

Suggested donation is $350. Please make checks payable to the OSU FOUNDATION and forward them to your corporate relations coordinator. Arrangements must be made prior to the event. For more information, please contact:
