Berkeley Edge Conference
October 25 - 27, University of CA, Berkeley

The upcoming Berkeley Edge Conference 2012 offers a great opportunity for students interested in graduate school to meet University of California, Berkeley faculty, graduate students and staff. There is no cost to participate for all students who are selected by UC Berkeley to attend the conference. The conference program includes workshops on preparing competitive applications for graduate admissions and national fellowships. Participants are also given tours of Cal's science and engineering departments and research facilities. A highly valued aspect of the conference is the pre-arranged individual and group meeting with UCB faculty and scientists from the national labs in each of the science and engineering fields of interest to the participants. GTA: Response System Specialist. Technology Across the Curriculum (TAC) is seeking a GTA to manage tools, deployment, and training for OSU’s supported response system (clickers). Necessary proficiencies are ability to work closely with faculty and students, ability to present workshops and webinars, interest in teaching and learning methods, strong problem-solving skills, self-directed spirit, strong organization skills, and technical aptitude for devise and software use.
