CS/Chemistry Project/ Undergraduate/Graduate Research Opportunity
The PHYC lab in the Chemistry Department at OSU applies computations to rationalize and predict chemical reactions. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic CS students to assist in the coding of a molecular modeling software accelerated by CUDA. Interested students will work closely with current chemistry graduate students in the PHYC group. Programming experience in C++, Python, and CUDA desired. Details

I am looking for a collaborator on a project with someone who is experienced within the computer science major, preferably someone at least in their Junior year. This project will involve creating a basic Facebook app that requires a database for storing uploaded statistics and a UI for displaying/modifying that information, and working with a customer that is relatively unfamiliar with programming. Did you know that undergrad, grad students, and student organizations are allowed 2 free hours per project (1 hour capturing / 1 hour editing) from OSU's Student Multimedia Services (SMS)? This might include photographing research, documenting an event, student portraiture, etc. Additional hours per project are charged at an hourly rate.
