SCHOLARSHIPS/FELLOWSHIPS

AT&T Labs Fellowship Program consists of a single type of award in the program: a 3-year fellowship. It is awarded contingent on an annual review demonstrating that the recipients are making satisfactory progress toward their PhD. AT&T Labs Fellowships are available to outstanding underrepresented minority and women students pursuing PhD studies in computer- and communications-related fields. Details.

IT assistant Internship,ViewPlus Technologies, Inc. Work with the Web Team to maintain, expand, and localize the ViewPlus web presence; Testing and maintaining accessibility of ViewPlus web sites; Installation of operating systems and application software; PC hardware testing and troubleshooting; Provide hardware and software support to other departments; Develop web applications for managing data. The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is administering The Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program (NREIP) sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ONR). NREIP is a ten week summer research opportunity for undergraduate Juniors & Seniors, and Graduate students, under the guidance of a mentor, at a participating Navy Laboratory (list of participating universities is available at http://www.asee.org/nreip). The stipend amounts for the program are $5,500 for undergraduate students and $6,500 for graduate students. U.S. citizenship required; Permanent residents accepted at certain labs. Details.

AFG Industries, a national leader in the manufacturing of flat glass, has an opening for an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER at its West Coast facility in Victorville, California.
