New approach to fixing spreadsheet errors could save billions. Computer scientists at Oregon State University have created a new, much simpler approach to fixing errors in spreadsheets, a system that is easy to use and might help businesses around the world reduce mistakes and save billions of dollars. USDept of Agriculture, Forest Service. We are looking for a computer science student (undergrad or graduate level) to assist our system administrator in keeping data center servers and personal computers up and running. This will entail learning software for each server configuration including windows server 2003, Oracle 10g, and ESRI GIS products 9.1 and 9.2. On the PC side we run Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP, all of the Microsoft and ESRI products, and a myriad of other software. Details.
