Software company MyStrands Inc. has raised $24 million, mostly from Spanish bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A., bringing total investment to $55 million. MyStrands was started up four years ago by Francisco Martin, a graduate student at Oregon State University, and two OSU professors, Thomas Dietterich and Jon Herlocker.
