Student research grants & internships are awarded each year to undergraduate and graduate university students through the American Public Power Association's Demonstration of Energy-Efficient Developments (DEED) Program. Ten $4000 Student Research Grants/Internships are available to students to conduct research on energy related projects or work at DEED member utilities. One $5000 Technical Design Project (Research Grant) is available to a student or group of students working on an energy related project. This scholarship is geared towards engineering students working on their senior

The RF Signal Processing and Modeling Branch at the Army Research Labs (part of the RF & Electronics Division in the Sensor and Electron Devices Directorate) are looking for qualified electronics engineers to carry out basic and applied research aimed at developing novel RF systems for the detection, location, tracking, identification, and exploitation of uncooperative targets in difficult backgrounds. Much of this work will be in support of capturing new business. The position requires a thorough understanding of HF electronic circuit design and microelectronic packaging/module technologies.
