The OSU Micro Air Vehicle Club started this year and will send a team to the Micro Air Vehicle Competition at the end of the year. We need a webmaster for the competition website so we have something looking really good instead of the one little page that is up right now. The plan is to have information about the team, the vehicles, the competition, and the club on the website. Some of the club activities include model airplane flying and building micro air vehicles out of carbon fiber. Contact: Max Salichon, OSU-MAV Team Leader, salichom@engr.orst.edu
The International Students at OSU (ISOSU) would like to invite all of you to our Coffee Hour and the celebration of International Awareness Day:
When: Nov 11, 2008
Time: from 6pm - 8pm
Where: MU Student Lounge, next to OSU bookstore
Starting from November 11, 2008, ISOSU will celebrate International Awareness Day at the first coffee-hour event every month. We encourage students, OSU staff and OSU community to wear cultural outfit at the event, and explain about it with others. This is a great opportunity for you see how diverse our campus is, and to know more about other countries and cultures around the world while having free drinks and refreshment.
At the event, we also provide information on available resources and opportunity to get involved with ISOSU activities. If you want to perform music, songs… or you want to do the presentation at our event, please contact our office.
