The Benton County Health Department is interested in learning more about the health status and needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ) persons in Benton County. To do so, we are collaborating with the Multnomah County Health Department to conduct an online survey called Speak Out 2009. All Benton County responses will be tracked separately to ensure that the unique needs of Benton County LGBTQ persons are captured in the survey data. Speak Out 2009 is a tool for collecting local data to inform programs and policies that improve the health and well being of LGBTQ persons in Benton County. Please help us spread the word about this unique opportunity. The confidential survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey is available through the end of July 2009 at: http://surveymonkey.com/speakout.
