Professional Computer Science B.S. Degree – Career Services

Eric Byers in his new job at Garmin Eric Byers was one of the first graduates of the Professional Computer Science B.S. Degree Program. Just two months into a 6-month internship with Garmin, he was offered a permanent job as Aviation Software Engineer 1.

The intent of Professional Computer Science Degree Program is to link students with the available jobs in computer science. The following events and resources are designed to help you to achieve success with your career.

Career Showcase
The Career Showcase is an event held twice a year in Portland, Ore. to introduce students to networking with company representatives. Visit the Career Showcase page for more details, or view more videos of industry representatives giving career advice and talking about the culture of their workplace.

Ecampus Career Services
Ecampus students can receive unlimited career counseling and access to virtual career services from OSU’s Career Development Center. Get personalized help developing your career goals, updating your resume, preparing for an effective internship/job search, and more. Log into Beaver Careers to schedule a phone or videoconference appointment with a career consultant. Visit Ecampus Career Services for additional career resources, including a list of upcoming live and archived virtual events.

Job and Internship Search
The OSU Office of Career Services offers services and information for students and alumni up to a year after graduation. Beaver Careers is OSU Career Services’ online career management system for job or internship search.

Resume Building
