Akash Kannegulla is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering. He received his undergraduate degree from Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore (India) in the major electronics and instrumentation in 2014.

Previously he received Nano Undergraduate Research Fellowship from University of Notre Dame during summer 2013, for research in Photo Induced Re-Configurable THz circuits and Devices guided by Dr. Larry Cheng and Dr. Lei Liu. His current research interests include THz imaging technologies, photonic crystals, Surface plasmonics and applications of Quantum Dots mostly for next generation display devices.
