Inventing the Future

Applied Magnetics Lab at Oregon State

The Applied Magnetics Research Program at OSU was initiated in 2004. The ongoing research encompasses novel magnetic sensors for medical, space and security applications, semiconductor spintronics and magnetic surface acoustic wave devices.

The group is headed by Dr. Jander and Dr. Dhagat, and enjoys strong collaboration with partners in ONAMI (Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute), and businesses including Umpqua Research Company (Roseburg, OR) and NVE Corporation (Eden Prairie, MN).
