Magnetic People

Dr. Albrecht Jander

Assistant Professor
Faculty Page
Albrecht Jander holds a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering. His research has focused on magnetics and spintronics. He previously held a position with NVE, where he worked on novel magnetic devices.

Dr. Pallavi Dhagat

Assistant Professor
Faculty Page
Pallavi Dhagat holds a doctoral degree from Washington University, St. Louis, where her research focused on the characterization of thermal reversal of magnetic grains. She has an extensive background in magnetic recording technology as a recording physicist. Prior to joining OSU, she was a research engineer in the Advanced Concepts Group at Seagate Technology, Minneapolis. Here she made significant contribution to the development of perpendicular recording technology.
