Biography
Martin Erwig obtained his Diploma degree in Computer Science (M.S.) in 1989 from the University of Dortmund, Germany, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 1994 from the University of Hagen, Germany. He also obtained the Habilitation in Computer Science in 1999 from the University of Hagen, Germany.

From 1994 to 2000 he was a research assistant at the University of Hagen. Erwig has been an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University, Corvallis since October 2000. His research interests are in functional programming, end-user programming, visual languages, and domain-specific languages.
