Biography
Un-Ku Moon received the B.S. degree from University of Washington, Seattle, the M.Eng. degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and the Ph.D. from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, all in electrical engineering, in 1987, 1989, and 1994, respectively.

From February 1988 to August 1989, he was a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Reading, Pennsylvania, and during his stay at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, he taught a microelectronics course from August 1992 to December 1993. From February 1994 to January 1998, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Since January 1998, he has been with Oregon State University.

His interest has been in the area of analog and mixed analog-digital integrated circuits. His past work includes highly linear and tunable continuous-time filters, telecommunication circuits including timing recovery and analog-to-digital converters, and switched-capacitor circuits.

A senior member of IEEE, Moon was awarded the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2002. He has also recently received the Engelbrecht Young Faculty Award from Oregon State University's College of Engineering in recognition of his outstanding contributions.
