3 Reasons to choose EECS at OSU

1. Hands On Learning

The EECS programs offer “Hands-On” Learning through our TekBot and OSWALD projects. Each student will use the skills learned in classes to build and create their own unique platform.

Undergraduate Research

Students help our faculty create cutting-edge research and projects in a variety of fields. You can check out more of our opportunities here: http://eecs.oregonstate.edu/undergraduate-students/prospective-students/new-student-registration

Senior Capstone

Seniors will partner with other engineering students across disciplines to create, design, build, and test your own product. You can find out more here: http://eecs.oregonstate.edu/industry-relations/capstone-and-senior-design-projects

2. Community

Peer Mentors

Each new first-year student is connected with a Peer Leader, who is a TA (teaching assistant). Your Peer Leader will help you navigate and succeed the EECS program through your first year. Once you’ve completed your first year, you can “Give-Back” and become a Peer Leader.

Student Clubs

There are a number of students clubs where anyone can find a place to be involved.

EECS & Engineering has 19 different clubs – which can be found here: http://eecs.oregonstate.edu/undergraduate-students/student-groups

OSU has over 300 clubs which can be found here: http://oregonstate.edu/sli/

3. Professionalism
