by the deadline, Feb. 18, 8 am.
What to Expect @ the Event
- Plan on being at the February Industry Reception in the Kelley Engineering Center by 5:45 (if not before) to pick up your name tag. That way you can meet with the company representatives as they arrive.
- This event is a great opportunity to network with members of industry and find out more about their companies and what's it like to work there. So do some research on the companies beforehand and be prepared to ask questions!
- Brring a stack of resumes to share.
- You can also use this event to solicit general job-search advice from the company reps. Ask them for feedback on your resume, interview tips, or any other career-development input they might have.
- Your company meeting assignments will be on the back of your tag. If an assignment is with a different company from the one you signed up for, use this as an opportunity to broaden your horizons.
- Do some research on the companies beforehand and be prepared to ask questions and get primed for future interviews!
- Do NOT leave early. The companies that are coming to the Industry Reception are expecting to see you.(Make prior arrangements with the reception coordinators if there are extenuating circumstances.)
- Come dressed in business casual attire.

About the Companies
 
You are strongly encouraged to familiarize yourself with the companies attending the reception. As a starting place for your research, follow About the Companies link and visit their web sites.
Also consider visiting Career Services prior to the Reception. They have people to help you sharpen your resume, improve your interviewing skills and even give you wardrobe tips.
