2009 EECS & MIME Industry Reception

Event Information

You're invited!!

The Schools of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) at Oregon State University are pleased to announce the third annual EECS & MIME Industry Reception. This event will take place on February 18th, 5:00-7:45 PM, in the Kelley Engineering Center on the OSU campus. We hope you will join us!

A Tremendous Opportunity

Held the evening before the Engineering Career Fair, the EECS & MIME Industry Reception is a targeted opportunity for organizations interested in connecting specifically with Oregon State's EECS and MIME programs, students, and faculty. With so many of our students involved in the reception--freshman through graduate level--this is a tremendous, one-of-a-kind opportunity to recruit both interns and new college hires.

Benefts of Participation

Participating in this event allows you to:

* Interact with MIME and EECS students in a relaxed setting, both informally during an hors d'oeuvres reception and in smaller selected groups during company information sessions.
* Connect with EECS and MIME faculty via a faculty-industry meet-and-greet event prior to the student reception.
* Increase your company's visibility at Oregon State.

Two-Part Reception

* 5-5:30 pm: Industry-Faculty Meet-and-Greet in Kelley Engineering Center Rooms 1005/1007. Take advantage of this opportunity to connect with our faculty members and learn more about our research and educational programs. We hope to see you there!

* 5:30-7:45 pm: Industry-Student Reception in the Kelley Engineering Atrium. Mingle with EECS and MIME students over hors d'oeuvres, plus introduce yourself and your company in the 20-second fast pitch. Finish off the evening with two break-out sessions, connecting with students who are interested in learning more about your organization.
