The spring term advising process offers all EECS students the opportunity to meet with a faculty advisor in a one-on-one setting to discuss career planning, course electives, or other topics. Students are required to submit a major-specific academic plan to the EECS Student Services Office (KEC 1148) prior to their advising appointment. These academic plans are then reviewed by the student services staff. Plans will be handed back at the major specific presentations being held the week of May 12th. The reviewed plans will have the student's fall term registration PIN.

All EECS students not on a Spring 2008 MECOP internship should submit a printed copy of their completed 2008-2010 academic plan to the EECS Student Services Office (KEC 1148) by 5pm, Friday, April 25.  This plan should cover course selections through Spring 2010.

Those students who submit their plan by the April deadline will receive an email (ONID) by 5pm, Friday, May 2nd, with instructions on how to schedule their advising appointment.

Those students who do not submit an academic plan by 5pm, Friday, April 25th, will need to submit a printed copy of their academic plan to the EECS Student Services Office by 5pm, Friday, May 16. These students will receive an email by 5pm, Friday, May 23th, with instructions on how to schedule their advising appointment.

Those students who did not submit an academic plan by 5pm, Friday, May 16th, will need to schedule an individual advising appointment with an academic advisor in order to get their fall term registration PIN. Students will need to bring an updated academic plan with them to their advising appointment.

There are two different file formats to choose from when selecting an academic plan:

  • Excel - Complete electronically and save for future planning.
  • PDF - Print and complete by hand.

Click on the appropriate icon to the right of the major to open that major's academic plan.
