Li-Jing (Larry) Cheng is an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan. His research aims to explore the unique physical and chemical properties associated with nanoscale materials and structures to develop devices for applications, such as point-of-care diagnostics, wearable sensors, and printed electronics. Recent projects include:

  • Hybrid bioelectronic nanocomposites and wearable biosensors for real-time, continuous biosensing
  • Development of point-of-care diagnostic tools and new bioassays
  • Advanced photonic devices and sensors based on light-matter interactions on the nanoscales
