Huazheng Wang is an incoming assistant professor in computer science at Oregon State University starting Fall 2022. He is currently a postdoctoral research associate at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. He received his PhD in Computer Science from University of Virginia in 2021, and his B.E. from University of Science and Technology of China in 2015. His research interests include machine learning, reinforcement learning, information retrieval and data mining. His recent focus is developing efficient and robust reinforcement learning and multi-armed bandit algorithms with applications to online recommendation and ranking systems. He has received the best paper award at SIGIR 2019 and Bloomberg Data Science PhD Fellowship.
