Community

students on campus

Have you ever wanted to hang out with others who understand the way you think? Ever felt that you needed some help to make something cool? Maybe you're looking for a community of people you can connect with.

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is a community of intelligent, passionate students and faculty. We strive to make sure that all of our students get what they need, whether it's a chance to do research, work on a cool project, get help with some homework, or just talk about the last Beaver game.

For example, classes can get a little tough. To help out, EECS has the Peer Mentor program. This is a group of students who help freshmen with all the different problems they might have from physics to how to use a laundry-mat.

Maybe you want to work on a cool project and compete nationwide? The clubs in EECS can help by getting like minded people together. The OSU Robotics Club, or the OSU Game Design Club might be right up your alley.

Essentially, if you want a place where you can belong with people who actually give a hoot, you’ve found it.
