To say that Jim de Broekert has led an interesting life so far would be an understatement. The 1952 electrical engineering alumnus also earned two graduate degrees from Stanford and went on to a career that involved the development of technology used to gather military intelligence. Read more about de Broekert and his gift.John Wager talks about his involvement in developing solar energy solutions. He is researching ways to efficiently capture solar energy and convert it to electricity using thin film solar cells with materials that aren’t hazardous to the environment and are less costly to produce.
