Members of industry are invited to meet students from our online Post-Baccalaureate Computer Science (CS) BS program who will gather Monday, December 12, 2016 in the Portland-metro for a Career Showcase.

The students in this program already have a Bachelor's degree, but are completing a second Bachelor's in Computer Science. Registration is free, but you must pre-register to participate.

A Tremendous Opportunity

This event allows you to connect with our students in a targeted way, while sharing about your organization and potential career paths. (See the Company FAQ for a list of discussion ideas.) Students tend to be looking to learn more about the field, learn about careers and network with industry. This group also tends to include more mature - the average age is 29.

Event Format

During the event, industry dines with our students, faculty and staff during lunch. Then each company gets one mintue to quick pitch their organization to the students. Students then move to company tables, networking with the companies of their choice during the breaks. It's a full afternoon, but a great way to connect!

Students sign up ahead of time to meet with the companies that most interest them. Kindly keep in mind, students cannot sign up to meet with you until your registration is completed. Space for this event is limited.

Background

Since its inception in 2012, there have been over 300 graduates from the online Post-Baccalaureate CS program. Through this program, students:

    • take 60 credits of computer science courses in order to graduate. No general education courses are required.
    • can enroll year round, as most classes are offered each term.
    • choose from a variety of track plans including 1-year, 1.5-year, 2-year, 3-year and 4-year track options.

How Do I Register for this Event?

Registration is free - but you must pre-register. Register by Monday, Nov. 28 by clicking on Company Registration.
