Abstract

We demonstrate an E-O polymer infiltrated silicon photonic crystal slot waveguide modulator. Enhanced by improved poling efficiency and slow light effect, we achieve an ultra high effective r33 of 735pm/V and V #x03C0;L of only 0.44V mm.
