STEP 1: ONLINE APPLICATION

After reviewing the minimum requirements, fill out an online post-baccalaureate application to apply to the program. Students will be seeking admission into the pre-CS major. After successfully passing lower division courses students become pro-CS majors.

International Post-Baccalaureate Students: If you are not a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, but currently in the U.S. on any U.S. visa, please contact the Office of International Admissions before applying to a degree program. Please review the International Admission Requirements before submitting the application. Please contact the International Admissions Office if you have any questions.

Non-degree seeking students: There is a petition process for taking courses. Please review the information for non-degree seeking students first before you apply for admission.

STEP 2: STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The online application will have a section called the “Statement of Objectives.” This is your personal statement. It should be 150 to 200 words and include how your past academic performance meets the admission requirements, your current occupation and your motivation for pursuing the computer science degree.

STEP 3: TRANSCRIPTS & TEST SCORES

The Office of Admissions must receive all official transcripts from all universities attended BEFORE the deadline. Refer to this page for information regarding mailing or emailing official transcripts.

STEP 4: CHECK APPLICATION STATUS

After submitting all materials, you can check the status of your application here. You will receive an admission decision within the timeline for the term for which you applied.
